A bespoke cantilever staircase designed for clients undertaking a barn conversion in Lancashire.
The staircase and landing is cleverly designed using a sliding mechanism that allows decoration of the adjacent wall. Treads are of English oak and designed to appear to go through the low iron glass balustrade. Closer inspection will show that the grain of the main tread is actually continued onto the tread end cap. Its this attention to detail that sets Bisca apart.
The staircase is finished with a stainless steel balustrade which continues up the stair and along the mezzanine landing gallery.
